Children naturally have this in them, but as they grow older they often forget it. Because it is also being less motivated. And as adults, we often completely lose it. Even though it makes us happy. Suddenly it all has to be “right”. And measurable. And should it yield something and should it not feel like a waste of time. But how can something that makes you less stressed, less anxious, free and more focused be a waste of time?
Time to create, experiment, reflect but above all relax and recharge the batteries. Children know it by nature, but as adults we often forget: being creative is very nice! It lowers stress and anxiety, you feel free (because there is no right or wrong) and it improves your concentration. You don't have to be an artist to enjoy being creative.
It's a gift to yourself: time to be creative
An 8 week program where Vicky will give the participants creative assignments and ideas based on 4 fascinating artists and Barbara (from Bobbinhood) will be there to help you take time for YOUrself, to help you with your self care ;) She will provide podcasts and simple fun exercises that will help you find your inner artist.
It's an online course, but with some live zoom sessions where we let our creative brains crackle together. We organize 4 live workshops via zoom, each time with a fantastic contemporary artist that we are a fan of ourselves!
And we provide a closed platform where everyone can share their questions, ideas and experiences with us and with the other participants during the process.
The 4 artists who will inspire us are these amazing ones: Frida Kahlo, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Louise Bourgeois and Henri Matisse.
For every artist - including yourself - we provide a nice DIY-booklet with assignments and facts, in which you can sketch and write down your own ideas and that you can take with you everywhere. Because inspiration manifests itself at all possible moments!

How much time do I need every week?
No worries, we will make sure to save them so you can watch them any time that suits you. If you have any specific questions for us in the live feed you can ask away in our slack ommuity.
What if I can't make the live sessions?
What is slack?
Slack is an online tool where we can keep in touch and create a community. Our slack will be only accessible for our participants. This is where you can ask all your questions and connect with us and the other creatives!
How do I receive the chapters and assignments?
We will send you several emails every week with videos and the podcast. We will also send you an email with the recording of the live sessions so you can (re)watch it any time.
The course starts on October 3rd and ends on November 28th.
When does it start?
Who is this program for?
For everybody who is stuck in creativity or wants to find their creativity. With this course we will help you make time for your very own creativeness because we believe there is an artist in all of us!* Yeeeaaaah!
*There are no exceptions to this rule ;)
In what languages is this course available?
The program will be available in English and in Dutch. This means the emails, workbooks and live sessions will be either in English or Dutch. You can select your language at the check out.
What materials will I need?
You can use materials you have at home, you don't need to buy new materials for this course (of course you can if you want to splurge on yourself!). The assignments will be a mix of painting, drawing, collaging, writing… etc. You can use the materials you are most comfortable with or not ;)
The course costs 149 euros including VAT and including all the live zoom workshops.
You can also register separately for the live creative workshops by the artists and they will cost 20€/piece.
What is the price of the course?
You will receive these booklets digitally, so that you can print and assemble them yourself. You will receive this by email a week before the start of the course.
Do the 5 work books come with the course?
THE COURSE WILL START IN:
